I have noticed one thing lately, pondered over it, and come to this conclusion.
People who do not read literature or almost any other kind of books are 'different' from those who do, in moral character.
I would elucidate and give fresh examples from my chai break only minutes ago but that is another matter.
No literature = Strange moral character.

Actually I have the same opinion about people who did not grow up around story telling grandparents.

Swapnil, although your theory might hold true in some way, it isn't their fault if they didn't have grandparents around them while they were growing up, to tell hem stories. However, they can still read you know.

:) did not have grandparents around when i was growing up. that's why i love it when people tell me the stories of their lives. all the voracious reading apart.

Hmmm - and yet some of the most learned people have strange moral character as well. I think it has more to do with chemistry than literature...

i agree with angelfish. I never read any literature ... think i turned out ok. If we asked my grandfather to tell us stories , he'd want us to press his legs in return, so we said to hell with the stories.

how u doin N?
